All the jewelry you see here is hand made by me in my living room.
Really.  I have two Labrador Retrievers, Remy and Max. That's Max up
there. They are usually laying around some where near when I am
beading.  I started making simple beaded jewelry as a fund-raising
hobby. Maybe I could sell some earrings at Lab Rescue events?

I discovered I loved the creative side, buying the stones and beads,
arranging all the materials, finding the inspiration for a design,
everything about the craft.  Soon I subscribed to a beading magazine,
and started to spend a lot of time in bead boutique stores, and online
buying beads.  A few classes later, I am creating jewelry.

I use bold materials and colors in my designs. I love gemstones.
Carnelian is my favorite, bold and varied. I also like working with
Swarovski crystals because they give an elegance to simple pieces. They
also come in more than 364 gazillon different
colors and shapes. Really.
